We would like to share an important update regarding the leadership of Speechless Reconciliation (SR). Matej Keka, one of our two founders, has decided to step down from the organization in order to dedicate his time and energy to the development of other projects. At the request of the SR Advisory Board, Tim Belon, co-founder of SR, has agreed to assume all of Matej’s responsibilities on an ad interim basis, effective immediately. In the coming weeks, Tim will work closely with the Advisory Board to redesign the organizational structure and prepare SR for its next chapter. As part of this process, Tim will actively engage with all stakeholders—our team members, mentors, partner institutes, and Rotary clubs. These conversations will serve as the foundation for a renewed organizational framework that will shape the future of SR. Tim’s vision is rooted in collaborative leadership, ensuring that the entire SR team works together as one to deliver the greatest possible impact for our beneficiaries. During this transition period, all SR team members will remain in their current roles to guarantee continuity and stability. We express our deepest gratitude to Matej for his vision, dedication, and commitment. Without his leadership and energy, SR would not be where it is today. We wish him every success in his future endeavors and will always cherish the strong foundation he helped to build. Signed, SR Advisory Board (President, Jonathan Wootliff) Tim Belon (SR General Leader).
