31/12/2024 Martina Trajkovska: A journey of artistic discovery, growth and 1st ever SR VentureRead NowMartina Trajkovska, an alumni of the Speechless Reconciliation program from 2022, has embarked on an inspiring journey of artistic and personal growth. Her story is a testament to the transformative power of mentorship, community support, and unwavering dedication to one's passion. This is her story.
In August 2022, Martina's participation in the Speechless Reconciliation developmental camp was sponsored by the Rotary Club Vilvoorde. It was during this camp that her exceptional artistic talent was discovered, setting the stage for her future endeavors in the Speechless Reconciliation program. From September 2022 to the present, Martina has been under the intense and high-frequency mentorship of Tim Belon. This mentorship has focused on several key areas: guiding her through important life decisions, encouraging her to re-enroll in art academy after she had previously dropped out, and assisting her in professionalizing and commercializing her painting activities with a focus on the European market. June 2024 marked a significant milestone for Martina as she made her first international sales in Belgium through Tim Belon's network, utilizing the first version of her branding. During her trip to Belgium, Martina was hosted by member of the SR team, Regine Bovens and her husband Frank. Regine introduced her to several art exhibitions, while Tim provided insights into the local culture and art scene. In October and November 2024, the SR Team, including Andrea Obach, Philip Van Luchene and Tim, collaborated closely with Martina to upgrade her branding and set up her website. This effort culminated in December 2024, when Martina, with the help of Matej Keka, received an invitation from Rotary Club Ljubljana International to participate in the Art Expo in Triëste organized by Miha Murn, marking another significant milestone in her artistic career. Martina Trajkovska's journey from a talented artist in North Macedonia to an international painter is a remarkable example of what can be achieved with the right support and mentorship. Her story continues to inspire and demonstrate the impact of the Speechless Reconciliation program in nurturing and empowering young talents from homes for children without proper parental care. The mARTina project has become the first SR Venture, aligning with our "pay it forward" strategy. This initiative not only supports Martina's artistic career but also sets a precedent for future ventures, ensuring that the benefits of the program extend to others in meaningful and impactful ways.
